Serendipity Country House & Restaurant - Wilderness

The chef’s personalized menu tour and Emilio's wine pairing knowledge made our dinner lovely, while the balcony's serene view enhanced our morning coffee experience.

We enjoyed pastries, pancakes, yoghourt, fruit, and cheese. The king room overlooked lake. The property's location was excellent and perfect, next to the lake. It was also just off the river / lagoon, attractions in the area and award winning restaurant...

Excellant service overall and parking onsite. Everything nice. Location just next door to the estuary, and attractions in the area. Also, near the river.

The room was super comfy, but we heard some traffic noise.

With the help of the amicable staff, we had a GREAT stay. You will be about a 5-minute drive from Wilderness Beach.

I had an very nice stay, completely immersed in the peacefulness of the hotel. The attention to detail blew me away, especially during breakfast where the sumptuous spread was an absolute feast! The restaurant experience was lovely. Each course was presented with creative flair and delicious local flavors.

Fine views from the balcony enhanced our stay.

Our experience was considerably marred by the excessive noise from the nearby N2 highway, disrupting our attempts to relax on the balcony. Despite the beautiful setting, the constant hum of traffic was unwelcome was good. The compact size of the bathroom left much to be desired. It was cramped and not suited for comfort, which negatively impacted our overall experience.

Our stay was too short, but the food was excellent!

The location was wonderfully serene, just beside the lagoon with balconies offering amazing views. Our double or twin room was well-equipped, providing everything needed for a relaxing beach getaway. The breakfast was a good spread, including pancakes, and the fine dining experience was really good.

The only slight drawback was the compact size of the bathroom, which may feel snug for some guests.

Excellent hospitality and attention to detail contributed to a nice experience. Comfortable accommodation with high-quality linens, fresh milk, and excellent coffee. Dining was a highlight, with each course showcasing clever flavors and local character, particularly the fantastic bangers. The room felt a bit tight around the bed, and the bathroom was compact, which could be improved. A wonderful location by the river complemented our relaxing time, despite some rain .

The house offered cozy rooms with great amenities like WiFi, air conditioning, and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was delicious and definitely a highlight. Plus, we loved the peaceful atmosphere and the fine views from our rooms.

One drawback was the compact size of the bathrooms, which could be a tight fit for some guests.

The place looks awesome, right by the river. Host is cute and provides all the need to know details. There are kayaks free to be used by the guests. Rooms are very comfortable with king bed.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

A serene escape with good dining

I recently spent two nights in a lovely guesthouse right by the river. The warmth and attentiveness of the hostess, Elsabé, enhanced our experience tremendously. Breakfast was a highlight, with a sumptuous array of dishes that set a wonderful tone for the day. The evening meal was amazing, with each course expertly explained. If I had to choose an improvement, perhaps more options for desserts would be nice.

The venue is fabulous and top quality with helpful staff. Offers welcoming service and superb food. - Would stay here again and again, loved this place.
